Ocean Empire in Haverstraw

First time in town and we were not disappointed with our choice for dinner! Ocean Empire was very hospitable and a friendly environment. They brought out chips with sauce and hot tea as soon as we sat down. My daughter and I decided to share an order of fried rice, boneless ribs and French fries and I'm glad we did because the amount of food we had was more than enough for both of us! It was all delicious! At the end they brought out fortune cookies and cut pineapple with our bill which was a pleasant surprise! Loved it, would definitely recommend!

Great food. Great portions and the staff is very friendly. A little pricey but it’s good quality Chinese food ! Worth it.

This spot has first-rate service as well as delicious menu. The best restaurant in the area. The meals arrived fast and the rates were inexpensive. Will definitely recommend this place.

Food was good although they are only doing take out because of covid19.

Being from California where Chinese food on every corner is delicious, it’s been hard to find anything we like that’s equivalent to back home. We have been in New York for over 5 years and today we can say we found Ocean Empire, 10 mins from our house, that is pretty spot on to back home. The nostalgia hit hard. We inhaled the food it was so good. Thank you Ocean Empire for bringing a piece of home for us. #ChineseFoodComa
